Professor Ian Campbell is Co-Head of the Cancer Genomics and Genetics program at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.  Ian has over 25 years experience in cancer genomics and is regarded as one of Australia’s leading breast and ovarian cancer genetics researchers.  His laboratory is a world leader in the study of genes contributing to breast cancer risk using a variety of cutting-edge techniques like whole exome sequencing. Ian’s work has lead to the discovery of two new breast cancer predisposing genes and he continues to focus on this area of research.
