This Committee oversees the researchers’ applications and the ‘access’ process to Register4 members. Their main role is to safeguard the interests of our members.
All approved projects submitted to Register4 have had their research reviewed via an external Ethics Committee. Therefore the main role of the Access Committee is to assess if the project is appropriate to send to members. The assessment is based on the project’s adherence to the Register4 Access Policy and Guiding Principles. This process also safeguards the interests of members.. Membership of the Access Committee includes men and women with and without cancer, representation from the research community and an ethics expert.
